Hearing aids, the Bronx, New York City

Fitted for your hearing, your life, your environments.

The Bronx angle
Cost is the conversation most audiology practices avoid. Singer Audiology does not. Hearing aids vary widely in price depending on technology tier, features, and what is included in the package. The honest answer is that there is a range, and the right device depends on the hearing profile, the listening environments, and what funding is available.
What hearing aids cost
Pricing is reviewed clearly after the evaluation. Entry-level devices perform well for straightforward listening needs. Higher-tier devices offer more processing power for complex environments. Both are discussed openly, with time to decide.
Medicare
Original Medicare does not cover hearing aids. Medicare Part B covers diagnostic hearing evaluations when ordered by a physician. Medicare Advantage plans often include a hearing aid allowance. Singer Audiology is credentialed with Medicare and will confirm what your specific plan covers before the appointment.
Workers' Compensation
For Bronx patients with noise-induced loss from occupational exposure, Workers' Compensation can cover hearing aids when loss is properly documented. That documentation starts with a comprehensive hearing evaluation and a narrative audiological report. Singer Audiology provides both.
FSA, HSA, and financing
FSA and HSA funds can be applied to evaluations and hearing aids. Financing is available through Cherry for patients who want to spread the cost.
Trial and follow-up
Trial period standard. Follow-up adjustments included from the start.

Occupational hearing evaluations, the Bronx, New York City

Noise-induced loss has a clear path forward.

The Bronx has large populations in construction, transit, sanitation, and the trades. Noise-induced hearing loss from occupational exposure is common, frequently underdiagnosed, and has a clear path through Workers' Compensation when properly documented.

What Singer Audiology provides

Comprehensive hearing evaluations, workplace noise assessments, and narrative audiological reports for Workers' Compensation and No-Fault matters. A workplace evaluation that finds loss leads directly to a device conversation and, where applicable, a funded route to hearing aids.
